MY STORY
Hello! Namaste!

I am so glad you found me here! This is literally every walking waking sleeping moment of my life. There is nothing more I love to do than to bake. And I hope I can inspire you to get as crazy as me about baking.
But first, here's (very) little about me.

I live in the City of Destiny- Visakhapatnam (you should Google it. It's a beautiful city!). I am a Rehab Psychologist turned baker/ blogger. I studied Psychology in India and then specialized in Rehabilitation Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. I loved being a psychologist. But baking is my true passion. The first ever dessert I made was chocolate ice cream from scratch. I could not find condensed milk and I remember my mom helping me make that too. I still remember her look of pride that it came out so good (I think she half expected a girl of 14-15 to fail at ice cream. Don't blame her). I have always found peace in cooking and especially baking. So here I am. I am not trained professionally nor did I go to any culinary school. All that I have learnt, I learnt by making mistakes, a lot of them and taking inspiration and lessons from other great bakers and bloggers.

I always had a few recipes for cakes but never really knew where I got those. Over the years I taught myself to make other baked stuff- pies, puff pastries, cupcakes etc. I have a lot of fails and lot more successes. It's all my work and I absolutely love every bit of it. To my friends, I crib a lot about how I'm a one woman show and how it's tiring sometimes. It is but I don't think I can imagine doing anything else. I watch an insane amount of baking and cookery shows. My Pinterest page is always full of sugar-y carb-y goodness. Yeah, you get the picture. I’m cray- cray for baking. I hope you are just as crazy.

I read a lot, listen to podcasts even more. I meditate and workout when I can. I hope my stories along with the recipes make you feel good.
Enjoy your stay here. Please email me if you have any questions to mintandberries6@gmail.com.
